Description
Coralfly Air Filter D371061 is a primary engine air filter designed for heavy-duty trucks with Paccar air intake systems, used mainly on Kenworth T680 and Peterbilt 579 new generation models from approximately 2022 and newer, equipped with Paccar MX-11 and MX-13 engines. The filter is a direct replacement for part numbers D37-1061, D371061, D37-1037 and D371037, and is installed in the main air intake housing at the front of the engine compartment. It is a rectangular panel-type filter with approximate dimensions of 17 inches outer width, 14 inches inner width, and 20.25 inches height, designed to match housing geometry and airflow requirements.
The filter media is typically a combination of cellulose and synthetic fibers engineered for high dust-holding capacity and stable airflow under heavy load conditions, ensuring efficient removal of contaminants such as dust, dirt, and airborne particles before they enter the engine, thereby protecting critical components like turbocharger, cylinders, and piston rings. It is built to maintain structural integrity under high airflow and vibration conditions common in long-haul trucking applications and is designed for direct replacement without modification.
This air filter is part of a high-capacity intake system and is intended to provide consistent airflow to support optimal combustion efficiency, engine performance, and fuel economy, while extending engine life and reducing wear. Typical service intervals depend on operating conditions but are commonly in the range of 10,000–30,000 miles in normal conditions, with more frequent inspection required in dusty or severe environments.
